MOMO SK51 Weighted Alloy Shift Knobs Every rule has its exception and in the world of motorsport the exception is the billet weighted shift knob. In motorsport the rule is to keep everything as light as possible but strangely there is a benefit to having a weighted shift knob. It has a distinct feel that makes shifting easier and smoother - and possibly quicker, but that’s down to the driver. The latest SK51 shift knobs from MOMO are made from solid billet aluminium and are therefore heavier than standard plastic knobs. Their simple ball design is actually quite ergonomic and fits naturally into the hand. Of course MOMO has added its own distinct Italian style with six recessed allen screw details and the outer grove spanning the full circumference. Having fitted a MOMO shift knob you’ll, naturally, want everyone to know its pedigree and this is made clear by the screen printed classic MOMO arrow logo and MOMO legend on the neck ferrel.
